Am I dizzy?
Okay, the story goes, I got a super virus and had to install Vista. To cut it short, Vista is wank!

My system is as follows:
Intel Pentium 4 E5200 Dual Core @ 2.50GHz
1GB DDR2 667MHz RAM
160GB SATA Samsung Spinpoint 7200RPM HDD
Intel G31/33 Onboard Graphics (not a gamer of any sort)

No wI would presume this would be more than adaquite for Vista. I was wrong. XP was a dream and it ran extremely quick with my CPU O.C'd to 3.26GHz.

However Vista is, poo!

I think I need more RAM my Physical Memory is at minimum 85% :/

What do you guys think?

RE: Am I dizzy?
Well, it probably is the RAM indeed.
Vista requires 512Mb to function properly, which in your case only leaves another 512 for other applications.
On top of that, your on board graphics card "steals" RAM for your vRAM, default is 128Mb for the G31/33, but you can change that to 256Mb. Well, that leaves you only 256 to 384 for other applications.

And the shiny effects on Vista can be rather demanding on your graphics card and vRam too.

RE: Am I dizzy?
Gave up on trying to get Vista run faster - upgraded to 4GB of RAM. Now it's smoother.
